Breast Cancer Care is the UK’s leading provider of information, practical assistance and emotional support for anyone affected by breast cancer. Over 44,000 and 300 men are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the UK. That’s almost the same number of runners who take part in the Great North Run every year!

How to enter:
There are two ways you can gain entry into the Great North Run. Either through gaining your own place via the official ballot which opens in January, or by being allocated one of Breast Cancer Care’s guaranteed places.
